Team Singapore opens ASEAN Para Games with four medals

On 21 January 2026, Team Singapore got off to a flying start on Day One of the 13th ASEAN Para Games in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand with two golds and two silvers.

In para cycling, Sebastian Tan clinched Singapore’s first gold in the Mixed Individual Time Trial T1–T2, clocking 31:40.485. Soon after, para tenpin bowler Kelvin Goh topped the Men’s Singles TPB1 event with a winning total of 804 pinfalls, adding Singapore’s second gold of the day.

Singapore also picked up two silvers in the pool. Toh Wei Soong opened his campaign with silver in the Men’s 400m Freestyle S7, finishing in 5:22.87. Danielle Moi followed with silver in the Women’s 100m Butterfly S14, touching home in 1:14.83.
