Dragon Boat Racing for Amputees and Stroke Survivors - Making it Happen, whatever it takes
Alita Initiative is Singapore’s only dragon boat team with paddlers including amputees and stroke survivors — and they’ve had to redesign the sport to make it work (custom seating, straps, paddle adaptations, lots of real-world testing).
It’s equal parts engineering + grit + community — a reminder that “inclusive sport” often means building the missing equipment, not just inviting people in.
