A new Enabling Services Hub has opened, bringing disability and caregiving support closer to residents in western Singapore.

A new Enabling Services Hub has opened at Taman Jurong Community Club to bring disability and caregiving support closer to residents in the western region of Singapore. Called Enabling Services Hub@Jurong, the hub is a partnership between SG Enable and TOUCH Community Services, and serves persons with disabilities and caregivers in Jurong, Clementi and Queenstown.

ESH@Jurong is the second Enabling Services Hub, following ESH@Tampines, which opened in 2023. Since starting operations in July 2024, ESH@Jurong has worked with community partners and volunteers to organise about 300 inclusive activities and programmes, reaching more than 1,000 persons with disabilities and caregivers. With this new dedicated space, the hub is expected to serve about 2,000 people in the area.

The hub provides information and referral support, and connects persons with disabilities and caregivers to relevant services. Its programmes include life skills and social participation activities, such as money management, personal grooming and emotional regulation. Caregivers can also join its recreational and learning programmes, with respite support available.
